Archana Nag’s Phone to be Sent to CFSL

Bhubaneswar: A local court allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to send the phones of lady blackmailer Archana Nag to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Kolkata. Two mobile phones of Archana and one of her husband Jagabandhu Chand which were seized by police are currently with the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL).

However, the SFSL failed to retrieve any data from the mobile phones which promoted the ED to move the court seeking transfer of the phone to CFSL. Earlier on Tuesday, Orissa High Court has granted bail to Nag. Nag has been granted bail in connection with the case at Nayapali Police Station in Bhubaneswar involving film producer Akshaya Parija.

The court has directed her to cooperate in the investigation and not to go outside. However, Nag will remain in jail as two more cases are pending against her.
