Ashokastami declared local holiday

All the State government offices will remain closed on March 29, 2023 for Ashokastami. Lord Lingaraj is settled on a chariot and carried to Rameswar temple from the main temple. This jatra is visited by many devotees singing and dancing along the way.

The notification is being issued by the Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Central Division, Cuttack, Odisha. As per this notification all the Governemnt offices in the Khordha District will remain closed, said the notification issued by the Office of the Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Central Division, Cuttack.
