Body of Missing Lawyer Recovered From Well

Bhubaneswar: The body of lawyer, who was missing since Thursday, was recovered from a well in Bidanasi locality of Odisha’s Cuttack last night. The deceased was identified as Arya Choudhury, a resident of Telenga Bazar in Cuttack city.

As per reports, Arya left his home on Thursday after receiving a call and did not return. Suspecting some foul play, his family members lodged a complaint with the Bidanasi police.

Based on it, police launched a search and found his body inside a well at Nuasahi under Bidanasi police limits late on Monday night. The deceased’s mother alleged that her son was killed and later his body was dumped in the well.

Police have recovered the body and sent it to SCB Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. A probe has been launched into the matter to ascertain the exact reason behind the death of the lawyer, said the police.
