CM for free entry to differently-abled into Maritime Museum in Cuttack

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday asked the authorities of Odisha State Maritime Museum in Cuttack to make entry free for the differently –abled person.

He also directed to grant 50 per cent discount to the students below 14 years of age.

Presiding over the fourth Governing Body meeting of the museum at the State Secretariat here, the Chief Minister advised the officials to distribute brochures on the museum in all the schools and colleges of the millennium city.

The meeting discussed about the expansion of the Aquarium, installation of Mirror Maze, granting 21 days of extra annual salary to the employees there as they are working even on holidays and re-structure salaries of the employees.

It also decided about special development and beautification of the Mahanadi river bank before the museum is set up.
