‘District Status to Padampur Within a Year’

Bargarh: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced that district status will be given to Padampur within one year. Patnaik made the announcement while addressing a public gathering at Jharbandh in Odisha’s Bargarh district.

The Chief Minister, who is on a visit to Bargarh, also announced several other developmental projects. Patnaik is also scheduled to reach Paikmal and inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various projects at the block.

The Chief Minister will then reach Padampur where he will felicitate the members of women SHGs at an event in the block and also launch several developmental projects.
