Gun Fired at Health Minister Naba Das

Brajarajnagar: Odisha Health Minister Naba Das sustained bullet injuries as a Police ASI named Gopal Das opened fire at him in Brajrajnagar of Jharsuguda district, today.

The incident took place near Gandhi Chhak here when he alighted from car to attend a programme and his supporters were garlanding him.

He sustained bullet injuries on chest. The minister was rescued and rushed to a hospital. The reason behind the firing was yet to be ascertained.
