Koraput: Ganja Worth Over Rs 1Cr Seized

Koraput: Police on Tuesday seized 1260 Kg ganja from one Ghenu Khada’s house at Khadaput village in Odisha’s Koraput district. The estimated cost of the seized ganja is around 1,260000.

Acting on a tip-off Machhakunda police conducted rain on Ghenu Khada’s house and seized 1260 ganja stored in 49 sacks.

While the accused managed to fled from the spot, Machkund police in the district registered a case (32/2023) under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act in this connection.
