Late Naba Das’ Daughter loses Rs 1.5 Lakh in cyber fraud

Dipali Das, daughter of late Naba Kisore Das, has allegedly been duped of Rs 1.5 lakh by cyber fraudsters.

She lodged a complaint with the Ainthapali police station in this regard, she alleged that Rs 1.5 lakh was withdrawn from her account in two transactions in a single day, she also added, “I received two SMS on my registered mobile number on Sunday last about Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 50,000 being debited from my account with the Ainthapalli branch of the ICICI Bank. These withdrawals were not done by me, nor did I share my bank account details with anyone”.

She also informed that she received an OTP from an unknown number but did not share them with anyone.

In this regard a case has been registered under Sections 419 and 420 of the IPC, and 66 (C) and 66 (D) of the IT Act and investigation into the matter is underway.
