Odisha CM Patnaik lays foundation stone of projects worth Rs 900 cr

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is schedule to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of projects worth over Rs 900 crore.

Apart from this, during his visit to Rourkela CM will inaugurate the Birsa Munda multi-purpose stadium and the adjacent multi-level car parking which has been constructed by the Rourkela Smart City Ltd at a cost of around Rs 138 crore.

According to the sources, CM will also inaugurate and lay foundations of around 600 projects in the Sundargarh district at a combined cost of over Rs 900 crore.

In his two-day visit to Rourkela he will be honored by the Guinness World Record for Birsha Munda International Hockey Stadium.

CM also decided to visit the World Cup Village and Birsha Munda Hockey Stadium where he will join the opening ceremony of the IFH Pro League tournament. The inaugural match will be played between India and Germany.
