Odisha FC to participate in RFDL

Odisha FC is delighted to announce that they will be participating for the first time in the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL 2nd edition). OFC have been placed in the East Zone Regional Qualifiers along with New Alipore Suruchi Sangha, Jamshedpur FC, United SC, ATK Mohun Bagan FC, Mohammedan SC, and Emami East Bengal FC. The tournament will be held in Kolkata and will commence on 14th March 2023.

The club takes great pride in having a reserve team consisting of 15 talented Odia players out of a total of 22 players. OFC is committed to nurturing and developing local talent, which aligns with its overall vision and mission.

In the collaboration with Reliance Foundation, the top four teams from the RFDL will compete against selected Premier League Clubs as well as South Africa’s PSL youth teams in the annual Premier League Next Generation tournament to be held later this year. Aiming to develop elite youth football talent in India through exposure and competitiveness, the Next Generation Cup provides exposure and competition for young players.

Odisha FC will kick off its first match of RFDL on 14th March vs New Alipore Suruchi Sangha.
