‘Pushpa 2’ to be Shot in Odisha

Malkangiri: In a good news for movie lovers, several scenes of the much anticipated Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ are likely to be shot in Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district. As per reports, Mythri Movie Makers, the concerned production house, wrote a letter to Malkangiri SP seeking permission to search the location for the shoot of the movie.

Sources said that permission has been granted by the local administration in this regard to the concerned production house. Also, a production team led by P. Venketeswar Rao, Production Manager of Mythri Movie Makers, visited Hantalaguda, Sarkubandha Hanging Bridge and other locations of the area to finalize the locations for shooting.

The production team met the District Collector and SP to seek permission for the shooting. The shooting is likely to start by the first week of May. They also assured the officials of adhering to rules and regulations during the shoot.

Earlier on April 7, the makers released the first-look poster of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ in which Allu Arjun was seen dressed in a saree and wearing gold jewellery. After ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ stunned the audience and smashed several records at the box office, there is high excitement among movie lovers about the second part.
