Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Amidst Covid 19, the Odisha government has decided to reopen the schools for Class 10 and 12 students.
The schools both government and private will reopen from July 26 for Class 10 and 12 students for offline classes,” informed School & Mass Education Secretary Satyabrata Sahoo today.
The timing for the class will from 10.00 AM to 1.30 PM for the students without recess hours.
However, the final call on reopening of schools will be taken by the district collectors after analyzing the COVID situation in their concerned districts.
The State Government is also planning to reopen the schools for Class 9 and 11 students from August 16 and September 15 respectively.
He further added that “We are planning to reopen the schools for Class 9 and 11. The classes for Class 11 students will be held from September 15 after completion of admission into Plus II courses”.
