Bhubaneswar: The response from investor community for the Maken in Odisha conclave beginning here from November 11 has been very encouraging, Odisha Industries Minister Ananta Das said here on Thursday.
Das asserted that the Conclave is a watershed moment in Odisha’s industrialization journey and at a scale that has not been seen before in the state.
All preparations for the successful conduct of Make in Odisha Conclave 2018 are nearing completion.
The conclave this year is much larger in terms of the impact that it will create with 15 government departments organising sessions in different sectors across four days.
The Industries Minister said the event will also provide unique opportunity for businesses to network and forge partnerships.
“The expo at the event will also be much larger showcasing manufacturing prowess of the state through use of modern and immersive technologies by the companies,” the minister informed.
Through the conclave, the government intends to convey the entire economic sector of the Odisha, Das added.
It is unlike investors’ summits being organized by many other states and has been designed to be a unique platform for discussing the various aspects of building the Odisha of tomorrow.
The event not only aims to get investments, but also to make people, particularly from outside Odisha about all the achievements the state has made.
This will be a platform for start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs to interact with investors, mentors and entrepreneurs of national and international repute.
