Tusker Electrocuted in Kendujhar

Kendujhar: A tusker was electrocuted after it came in contact with an 11KV electric wire in Champua range of Kendujhar district.

As per reports, some locals spotted the elephant lying dead in Basantpur Jadipadasahi under Champua range in the district and alerted the forest department officials. On getting the information, the forest department officials arrived at the spot and recovered the carcass.

An investigation has been launched into the matter and actions will be taken accordingly, said an official.
